The research carried out in the Aerosol Physics Group is mainly focused on the properties of atmospheric aerosols and clouds. A range of theories and computer models as well as experimental techniques are used for developing atmospheric chemistry and climate models.

The Aerosol Physics Group is part of the Finnish Academy Centre of Excellence in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Meteorology of Atmospheric Composition and Climate Change.
