In Tahkovuori,
the accommodation will be arranged in
Alppihotelli, three persons per room.
The breakfast is offered in
Sokos hotel Tahkovuori
(same building in which the lectures also take place).
In Kuopio, we suggest the participants to stay in Hotel Atlas, which is located
in the center of Kuopio (Haapaniemenkatu 22).
The organizers will reserve rooms for the participants who wish to stay in Atlas from
Wednesday 25 February to Friday 27 February.
We also reserve you a room in Atlas on Sunday 22 February
(before the course)
if needed.
Please indicate in the registration if you need accommodation in Kuopio.
Funds for supporting the participation of young researchers and graduate students are available. Should you wish to apply for this support, please mention this when registering, and send an application to the address inverseyear@venda.uku.fi by 29 January. If you find it appropriate, please feel free to include your CV, and to ask for a letter of recommendation to be sent the same address.

Bus transportation from Kuopio to Tahkovuori will be arranged on Monday 23 February. Bus leaves at 8.30 a.m. from the bus stop at Maljalahdenkatu, behind the city hall. (Click here to see the map of Kuopio city center). The bus will stop at the Kuopio airport and approximate departure time is 9.00 a.m.
Kuopion Liikenne provides local bus transportation services in Kuopio. Buses 4, 16, 21 and 23 operate between the city center and University of Kuopio.
